General Educator Sexual Misconduct sites
- www.sesamenet.org-
SESAME (Stop

An excellent resource that has everything from stories of victims to
additional resource links to legal document references. A highly
recommended site for all seeking more information.
- Educator
Sexual Misconduct: A Synthesis of Existing Literature [PDF]
(June 2004) was prepared for the the U.S. Department of Education,
Office of the Under Secretary, Policy and Program Studies Service by
Charol Shakeshaft of Hofstra University and Interactive, Inc.
Extremely important research! Most comprehensive information
gathering to date. Many stats and info on this website have been
quoted from this lengthy document. I (Andrea) have personally worked
with this very dedicated woman! Highly recommended site.
Support Services for other Sexual Misconduct
- Surviving to Thriving
- Rape victims have the chance to tell their stories and read
survival stories from others. Therapeutic input and output options.
- South Eastern Centre for Surviving Sexual Assault
- Very comprehensive, user friendly, down to earth answers to
questions that may arise after one has been raped. Not overly
clinical. May be focused more toward younger people?
- Women's Health Website - Surviving Rape
Excellent links to other very helpful sites, definitions, legal
issues. A little busy but very informative.
- Nevada Coalition Against Sexual Violence: www.ncasv.org
- This website has great general information and, although much of
it relates only to Nevada, it holds solid information with regards
to Educator Sexual Misconduct.
